I have been asked a few times if I will be keeping the boxing up. Whilst it has been an amazing journey over the last few months I am not sure if it is me just being a bit girly, but I never got to the point where I really enjoyed people punching me in the face as hard as they could. Call me a wuss, and maybe I just haven’t been punched in the face often enough yet to learn to enjoy it.
However, I have enjoyed the sparring though and want to keep this up – makes an hour of excercise much more interesting than spending it on a treadmill. So let me know if you want to have a go at the sparring. However I think I will retire from actual fighting whilst I am still undefeated – always best to finish on a high.
So instead I think I will focus my time into less painful, more artistic pursuits… such as painting. Talking of which I am just organizing the drinks reception for my 2015 art exhibition at my new studio in Leeds. It’s on the 8th December from 5.30 to 8.00. If you fancy coming along details are here –
It’s free but you do need to register to get in as some of my new friends from the world of boxing will be looking after the door and weirdly, they still like the idea of fighting rather than painting. So if your names not on the list….
